HID’s Finance Group:

The person in this role will provide support in a Senior Analyst role to the Identity Access Management Solutions (IAMS) business area within HID Global. 


As our Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Performing monthly analysis of Business Area financial results and prepare management presentations. Investigating variances from historical performance and against forecasts highlighting key business drivers
  • Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Translating financial analysis into clear data-driven storylines and insights
  • Closely partnering with the business and build strong working relationships
  • Supporting the quarterly & annual forecast processes including planning for spend, headcount, cost savings, and investments by business unit
  • Creating financial models to support P&L planning and analysis
  • Providing financial insights to aid in assessing risk and highlight opportunities to achieve the financial commitments; independently, be able to identify issues, and provide solutions
  • Proactively establishing insightful analytics and develop the right operational processes that enable groups to “see around the corner” and support cross functional alignment
  • Assisting and advising IAM Solutions Controller in preparation of Business Area strategy requirements, including what-if scenario planning.  Provide strategic recommendations based on data driven analysis
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to Business Area managers
  • Creating analysis reports and support others in the Business Area with reporting requirements
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings
  • Improving systems and processes to increase accuracy and/or efficiency
  • Completing special projects and ad hoc analysis timely and accurately as assigned

  • Familiarity with IFRS/GAAP
  • Ability to thrive in matrixed organization
  • Knowledge of HFM or similar financial reporting system
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system

 

Your Experience and Education include:     

        

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 4 years of experience in a financial analysis role
  • Experience working in a high tech, fast paced work environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
