As our Sr. Director, Product Marketing, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Conduct market research: Identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape; use insights to inform product positioning and messaging.
- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry influencers. Gather and incorporate customer feedback to refine product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Industry Engagement: Maintain biometric industry knowledge through workshops, publications, participating in relevant professional societies & speaking at industry events.
- Business Value Stream Leadership: Drive thoughtful and well-constructed assessment of “where-to-play” vertical/segments; work with leadership to align organization around strategic choices. Work with leadership to ensure organization investments are prioritized to enable targeted growth.
- Create customer segmentation strategies: Establish and understand customer profiles. Targeted marketing plans to drive growth and address key business needs.
- Product Launches: Lead product launches and marketing campaigns, collaborating with product development, sales, and marketing teams to ensure successful execution.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI on product marketing efforts.
- Manage relationships: external agencies, vendors, partners to enhance product visibility & market reach.
- Strategy Development Intersection: Provide strategic leadership in competitive analysis, market trends, and product performance to guide decision-making and drive growth.
- Communications: Ensure alignment and cohesive messaging across cross-functional teams, including Corporate Communication, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and inspire a geographically dispersed team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that drives towards business goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, product marketing, sales, technical services and legal, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives. Provide leadership & guidance to teams working on related projects.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly reporting on the success and outcomes. Use data-driven insights to optimize and improve programs and initiatives.
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with marketing and product teams to shape sales collateral, presentations, and materials that effectively communicate the value proposition across diverse markets.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- 10+ years of experience in solution/product marketing or relevant adjacent roles
- 10+ years of experience working closely within IT, technology, security, or identity management organizations.
- 5+ years of people management experience
- A proven track record of achievement and demonstrated career stability.
