As the RFID Sales Manager for the Identification Technologies (IDT) Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, part of HID Global, you will be responsible for driving the revenue and market growth in the NAM region with a focus on growing the RFID business through the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical markets. We are looking for a sales expert with in-depth knowledge and experience in selling into the medical device and pharmaceutical industry with an excellent understanding of the channel to market such as system integrators, OEMs and distributors operating in this environment. In this role, you will work closely with the ISC Sales Leadership and the Sales Support Teams.

HID Industrial Smart Components (ISC):
The Industrial Smart Components (ISC) Business Unit, within IDT, is a global leader in producing standard and custom RFID Tags and Labels for Industry & Logistics, healthcare, animal identification and fueling automation markets, with manufacturing sites in Malaysia, China und US.
As our a Sales Manager ISC NAM/Medica, you’ll support HID’s success by:
• Acquiring new customers and developing the existing customer base in the above-mentioned region and in the Medical/Pharmaceutical market.
• Recognizing and understanding the customer requirements during the pre-sales process and bring them together with our offer.
• Driving the entire sales process, from the first contact, preparation of the offer, to the conclusion of the contract, utilizing product management and engineering specialists as required.
• Working with sales and marketing management to plan and implement marketing and sales campaigns for your defined customer base to drive brand recognition and growth the business.
• Attending and participating in conferences and exhibitions as well as partner events
• Finding and maintaining key contacts with potential customers
• Providing on-time and up-to-date forecasts and attainments of your revenue on a regular basis
• Building a project pipeline to secure the ISC long-term business growth
• Calling out future market trends as well as defining these and act upon them in close coordination with product management
Your Experience and Background include:
• Must have 5+ years of experience in selling into the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Ideally, you have technical training or previous education, but in any case, you have a high affinity for technical products
• An understanding of RFID technologies with a focus on the RFID Tags and Labels would be helpful but not necessary.
• You have several years of sales experience and are confident talking with all levels of the company
• You are passionate about sales topics and are a passionate seller
• Must be comfortable and self-motivated to work remotely
• Strong experience in finding, contacting, and closing new customers which includes cold calling and social media outreach.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The base salary in the United States is $100,000 to $130,000.The OTE is up to $220,0000.
