The Sales Director, Financial Services – North America leads HID’s go-to-market and revenue execution strategy for the Financial Services vertical across the North American region. This individual will drive exponential pipeline growth, engage deeply with executive-level decision-makers at top-tier financial institutions, and lead the enterprise sales motion for HID’s identity and authentication solutions.
This strategic role is ideal for a proven sales leader with deep experience navigating complex organizations and regulatory environments, and who thrives in data-driven, high-performance environments. The Sales Director will partner closely with internal stakeholders and strategic ecosystem partners to drive new business and elevate HID’s presence in the financial services cybersecurity landscape.

As our Sales Director, Financial Services, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy focused on driving authentication solution adoption across financial institutions in North America.
- Consultative Enterprise Engagement: Building and expanding trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, including CIOs, CISOs, and Chief Risk Officers.
- Target Account Programs: Leading account-based marketing (ABM) efforts with HID marketing and product teams to achieve 3–4x YoY pipeline growth.
- Revenue & Pipeline Execution: Owning regional bookings targets and manage a repeatable, scalable sales process that drives predictable outcomes.
- Salesforce.com Proficiency: Utilizing Salesforce.com to manage pipeline visibility, forecast accuracy, and integrated prospecting tools for data-driven sales decisions.
- Market Development: Establishing HID’s leadership in authentication and identity for financial services through thought leadership and competitive differentiation.
- Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration: Co-selling with technology and integration partners including Microsoft, Okta, Ping Identity, Optiv, and GuidePoint Security.
- Customer Evangelism: Serving as a senior HID sales executive in customer presentations, RFP processes, and strategic sales engagements.
Your Experience and Background include:
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, identity, or related technologies.
- Proven success in selling to the financial 100 institutions across North America.
- Familiarity with the financial services regulatory landscape and executive decision-making structure (CIO, CISO, CRO).
- Demonstrated ability to drive outbound sales programs and scale pipeline effectively.
- Comfortable operating in matrixed environments and collaborating across sales, product, and marketing.
- Executive presence, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with co-selling alongside partners such as Microsoft, Okta, Ping, GuidePoint and Optiv is strongly preferred.
- BS/BA in a related field. Candidates with equivalent education, plus relevant industry experience may also be considered.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
The base salary in the United States is $135,000 to $150,000. The OTE is up to $300,000.
