HID Global is looking for a Regional Logistics Manager for the Americas region to manage the freight network, enhance business development, and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.

HID’s Global Logistics Department: 

Our Global Logistics department is responsible for securing transportation for all aspects of HID Global’s business and managing the providers of those services against cost and performances objectives.


As our Regional Logistics Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Providing direct experience with transportation management
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics and transportation services
  • Create policies and procedures for logistics activities
  • Manage portfolio of regional logistics projects and solutions
  • Work with regional acquisitions to perform due diligence reviews and align operational processes with global standards and best practices
  • Liaise and negotiate with logistics services suppliers and internal customers
  • Manage international logistics across the globe and choose optimal transportation modes and shipment frequency
  • Control inbound and outbound freight costs and maintain appropriate balance between lead time and cost
  • Monitor and ensure transportation services comply with established SLAs by monitoring and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing improvement actions with logistics services providers
  • Monitor dispatches and delivery lead times from warehouse and take timely actions to ensure on-time delivery
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
  • Develop and maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
  • Manage CTPAT program compliance and related activities

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of Logistics and Project Management experience in a global environment
  • Established track record of successful Supply Chain project implementations
