The Product Manager (PM) for EAT RFID Standard products plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product strategy within the IDT Business Unit. The PM is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of industrial RFID readers—from concept to commercialization and end-of-life—while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. This role requires expertise in RFID technologies, a strong understanding of market trends, and the ability to balance customer needs with internal capabilities. The PM also oversees the development of business cases, product requirements, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring that new products meet market demands, are delivered on time, and contribute to the company's growth. Ideal candidates will have a background in engineering, experience with Scaled Agile (SAFe) processes, and a proven track record in product management. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset are key to success in this dynamic, global role.

As our Product Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
• Being up to date with market requirements, market trends and competitors by participating in market research, visiting customers, partners and attending trade fairs
• Creating market-relevant new product/solutions
• Proposing major new functionality (Epics) using Lean Portfolio Management processes
• Providing Business Case descriptions for new products or a separate business opportunity
• Prioritizing Features using Scaled Agile (SAFe) processes and judgement in conjunction with Product Directors (PD’s) Product Owners (POs) and Business Owners
• Cooperating with Product Owners and gaining acceptance of Stories to support priority features
• Updating Roadmap with plans and priorities that come out of LPM, and PI Planning processes
• Collaborating with Pre-sales regarding customer requirements and expectations to achieve correct prioritization of the roadmap.
• Supporting Sales, Pre-Sales with specifications, recommendations to customers, in-field customer visits, competition analysis etc.
• Participating and actively contribute to feature exploration, ART sync, sustaining and other product management meetings and sessions.
Your Experience and Background include:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
• 5 - 10 years of experience as a product manager working in product areas such as security, industry, healthcare or other.
• Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes.
• SAFe PO/PM training and certification.
• SAFe LPM training and certification.
• Demonstrated ability to work across cultural, geographical, and disciplinary team boundaries.
• In-depth understanding of RFID technologies and market standards for standard readers as well as industrial readers being embedded into 3rd party solutions.
• Understand and interpret market requirements through internal and external input.
• Knowledge in the technical area of embedded RFID modules and readers for various types of applications, an extra plus is if experience is available in application areas such as industrial manufacturing and medical/healthcare.
