The Production Control team drives customer satisfaction and operational efficiency through expert order management, issue resolution, ATP oversight, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
This role also supports revenue alignment by analyzing order backlog, at-risk orders, and future demand to forecast monthly revenue. As a Master Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in these efforts and evolve with the business as it grows.

As our Master Scheduler III, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Leading and owning the facilitation of the cross functional Backlog/Production Meeting with the appropriate frequency for the BU/BA/Regional structure.
- Determining production schedules considering all variables such as; inbound supply and production/fulfillment capacity to delivery maximization of revenue while simultaneously meeting our on time delivery and lead time KPIs.
- Acting as the main point of contact and source of information for orders.
- Performing tactical activities such as but not limited to email inquiry, inventory inquiry, version history research, etc. are expected.
- Performing order management activities including managing holds and scheduling orders per production capacity.
- Establishing priority for work order’s sequence in alignment with scheduled dates.
- Collaborating with supply chain, order entry and production on order execution to SLA.
- Participating and having direct involvement in customer communications as needed.
- Following up on scheduling/production/shipping exceptions to ensure commitments are met.
- Adjusting ATP rules to ensure orders are consistently scheduled according to inventory levels and capacity that meet on time delivery goals.
- Following up on aging orders to ensure prompt disposition in accordance with SLA.
- Working with Production and appropriate Value Streams on order escalation, prioritization, and scheduling.
- Acting as liaison between sales, customer service, procurement, and fulfillment operations.
- Developing and creating reports/presentations per management/business needs.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Degree in business management, engineering, supply chain management, or related fields.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular Word and Excel.
- Experience with Oracle ERP programs is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile PLM is highly preferred.
- Quick learner with attention to detail.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to multi-task.
- Must have an innate desire for Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to perform daily tasks without constant Management / Supervisory oversight.
- Expected to frequently communicate and collaborate across functional boundaries.
