Machine Operator II




MO2 is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting multiple complex manufacturing equipment with a focus on producing quality product and achieving production goals, with a willingness to work overtime when needed.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collation of materials per BOM.
  • Identifies and escalates potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies.
  • Follow oral and written directions.
  • Following and advocating safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment
  • Maintain a high level of attendance.
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. throughout the duration of shift.
  • Must possesses the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail
  • Set up and proper use of automatic and semiautomatic equipment in a cleanroom facility.
  • Understanding and adhering to basic work instructions and procedures.
  • Verify BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork and markings
  • Will be held accountable for all performance standards.



  • Work independently with minimal supervision as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accepts and embraces constant change as a necessary factor to success.
  • Demonstrates experience operating and set ups of various machinery.
  • Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends).
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities while being organized.


Education and/or Experience        

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must have a minimum of one year manufacturing experience.


Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

Computer Skills     

  • Familiarity with in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel is expected.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc. is expected.


Work Environment

  • Employee works primarily in a factory environment, with in a well ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Must be able to bend, scoop, and reach to perform above duties.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work sitting down and/or standing up for extended periods of time.
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and/or hearing.
  • Requires the ability to, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Ability to see close (20 inches or less), distance (20 feet or more), color (identify and distinguish), peripheral (up/down and left/right with eyes fixed on given point), depth (distances and spatial relationships) and adjust Focus (adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).


           Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
