The 2nd shift Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting multiple complex manufacturing equipment with a focus on producing quality product and achieving production goals, with a willingness to work overtime when needed.

As our Machine Operator II, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Collation of materials per BOM.
  • Identifying and escalating potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies.
  • Verify BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork, and markings.
  • Following oral and written directions.
  • Following and advocating safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Setting up and proper use of automatic and semiautomatic equipment in a cleanroom facility.

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must have a minimum of one year manufacturing experience.


Work Environment & Requirements:

  • Employee works primarily in a factory environment, with in a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Must be able to bend, scoop, and reach to perform above duties.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work sitting down and/or standing up for extended periods of time.
  • Requires activities involving being around moving machinery.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and/or hearing.
  • Requires the ability to push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Ability to see close (20 inches or less), distance (20 feet or more), color (identify and distinguish), peripheral (up/down and left/right with eyes fixed on given point), depth (distances and spatial relationships) and adjust Focus (adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
