HID’s Global Corporate Finance Department:

We are seeking a strategic & operationally focused Finance Manager to join our HID Corporate Finance team. This very visible role to all in our Senior Leadership team will be a the front of supporting, leading and continuously developing our key finance cycles (monthly performance reviews, forecastin, budgetings, and others) for all our Corporate Functions.


As our Functional Financial Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Serving as a key finance partner to Sr VP’s of selected Corporate Functional teams. (Corporate Marketing, Legal, IT, RnD, Finance, IP, Corporate Communications, HR and others are potential options)  
    • Effective in partnering establishing and obtaining a “seat at the table”; Counseling key clients and effectively collaborates with colleagues to drive forward initiatives in alignment to business priorities, business environment or strategic direction.
    • Participating in monthly/quarterly business reviews with HID’s Senior Leadership team including the ability to convey key messages through effective presentation skills.
    • Providing financial insight to teams in assessing risk and opportunities to achieving its financial commitments.  This includes proactively establishing insightful analytics, reporting, and developing the right operational processes that enable the key clients and groups to “see around corners” and support cross functional alignment.
  • Leading Corporate Functional analyst team to create an environment that strives for prioritization, focus and global consistency of best practices identified both internally and externally.
  • Serving as a functional financial leader in full and timely delivery of all requirements for all financial cycles including, but not limited to Monthly Close, Quarterly Reviews, Forecast cycles and other ad hoc requests.
  • Proactively developing and adjusting global functional processes to:
    • Improve cross functional discussion, alignment, and prioritization in HID’s matrix organizational structure.
    • Increase productivity and accuracy via standardization, automatization, tools, and others.
    • Support and allow upward and lateral mobility across functional financial analyst team.
  • Supporting alternative business models and corporate initiatives
    • Responsible for the counsel and influence of teams in the development and implementation of alternative business models and corporate initiatives
    • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders. Foster appropriate interaction with the business and functions to help achieve their organizational goals.
  • Co-leading M&A efforts
    • Coleader and partner of M&A functional integration efforts to support targeted cost leverage, increased control, and fluid transparent information flow.

Your Experience and Education include:  

           

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance (or other bachelor’s degree with Finance/Accounting experience)
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting/finance experience
  • 3-5 of years of experience in the high-tech industry preferred
  • Hands on experience in global matrix operational structures
  • Working knowledge of data warehouse reporting and analysis tools
  • Prior experience in HFM Hyperion and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
