As our Senior Finance Manager - PACS, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Leading the day-to-day financial analysis activities in support of the NAM Business Unit
- Collaborating with Accounting Shared Services on the month end closing activities and conduct variance analyses.
- Managing full P&L ownership of the BU: sales, Direct Material, FPC and SG&A. Direct and Allocated costs.
- Preparing and presenting the BU Monthly Performance Review to BA senior leadership.
- Leading the Business Unit annual plan/quarterly forecast processes.
- Preparing and presenting reviews with BA senior leadership.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings.
- Functioning as the primary subject-matter expert with BU Managing Director
- Partnering closely with the business on the key strategic initiatives and projects. Conducting profitability analyses (IRR and payback).
- Providing financial insight in assessing risk and opportunities to achieving financial commitments; independently and pro-actively, being able to identify risks & opportunities, suggesting actions and communicating effectively to get buy-in.
- Leading the analysis and conclusions around key performance metrics, including communication to business and HID leadership.
- Being able to connect the business/functional segment activities to financial performance and summarize for the key leaders.
- Influencing the business/functional segment leaders, including compiling final recommendations and presenting them to the leaders.
- Having a “seat at the table” with the business during discussions, decisions and go forward plans.
- Providing guidance and development to other members on the team around priorities, processes and ideas.
- Working closely with peers within the PACS finance team to improve tools, efficiency and deliveries to the business.
Your Experience and Background include:
- A relevant degree (ex: bachelor’s degree) in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of related experience, or
- A Master’s degree and 7+ years of related experience or
- Equivalent education and work experience
- Requires 5 years’ experience with a broad range of financial responsibilities
- Experience as a finance business partner with multi-functional teams
- Be able to work in a global environment
- Demonstrate communication skills and ability to influence business decisions
- Be autonomous to organize their work and to arbitrate between conflicting priorities
- Show a customer centric mindset
- Challenge the status quo
- Takes a leading role in shaping how their work fits into the larger picture for their team and develops solutions accordingly for proposal
- Develop and deliver effective presentations to a large-sized, cross-functional audience
- Has a strong sense of foresight, anticipates stakeholder needs and questions to present appropriate solutions
- Skilled at "looking around the corner" to identify areas where efficiency can be gained, processes can be improved, and avoids the need to course-correct
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. with advanced Excel skills required
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle analytical platforms or other data warehouse tools
- Experience with HFM, PowerQuery and AI is a plus
