As the Director of Strategic Alliances, you will lead the development and execution of the strategic partnership strategy to drive growth and market leadership in the authentication industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep authentication and identity industry knowledge, a strong network, and a proven track record in building successful partnerships. The Director will be responsible for shaping and implementing the organization’s alliance strategy, fostering key relationships, and driving collaborative initiatives with industry partners across the commercial employee and consumer fintech segments.

As our Director Strategic Alliances, Authentication, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Strategic Partnership Strategy: Develop, execute & effectively communicate a comprehensive strategic partnership strategy in the authentication market, aligning with the company's business objectives

Identify and prioritize potential partners, evaluating their strategic fit and contribution to the organization's growth. Drive strategic initiatives to capture untapped markets

  • Industry Leadership: Maintain a deep understanding of the authentication market, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape

Position the organization as an industry leader through strategic alliances, thought leadership, and participation in industry events. Serve as a trusted ambassador of HID Global

  • Partnership Development and Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the authentication ecosystem, including technology partners, industry associations, and regulatory bodies

Lead the negotiation and structuring of complex partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, product marketing, sales, technical services and legal, to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives

Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams working on alliance-related projects

  • Innovation and New Opportunities: Proactively identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborative initiatives that drive innovation and enhance the company's position in the authentication market
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for alliance initiatives, regularly reporting on the success and impact of partnerships.

Use data-driven insights to optimize and improve alliance programs and initiatives

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and inspire a geographically dispersed team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that drives towards business goals
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with marketing and product teams to shape sales collateral, presentations, and materials that effectively communicate the value proposition of our partnerships across diverse markets

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

  • BS/BA or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years global sales experience in the Financial Service area for IT vendors, IT Sec sales experience and/or experience in the Authentication market or HID products is a plus.   
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • A proven track record of quota/goal achievement and demonstrated career stability

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary in the United States is $170,580 to $178,800.
