We are seeking an accomplished, strategic, and inspiring Marketing Director to lead our North American marketing programs, with key experience in digital marketing. This role will oversee the planning, creation, and delivery of integrated marketing initiatives, driving digital integrated campaigns, nurturing B2B and channel partner communities, and ensuring alignment with global strategies.

 

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, with deep expertise in digital marketing operations, content strategy, customer engagement, and team empowerment. You will have managed agencies and stakeholders and worked cross-functionally to deliver measurable business growth – with specific attention to attribution and marketing KPIs. You will also play a critical role in shaping the future of our marketing ecosystem, contributing to new methodologies and innovative approaches where formal playbooks do not yet exist.

As our Director of Digital Marketing, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Owning the development and execution of North American marketing strategies that align with global objectives and drive market impact.
  • Creating and leading integrated marketing programs leveraging all the marketing mix, ensuring clear messaging architecture, competitive positioning, and audience resonance.
  • Overseeing marketing operations, with a key alignment to digital functions, including campaign planning, resource allocation, agency management, creative development, and performance measurement.
  • Developing best practice direct digital communication strategies that engage and nurture B2B customers and channel partner communities, demonstrating ROI.
  • Delivering digital optimization across PPC, SEO, SEM and paid, owned and earned digital platforms.
  • Spearheading CRM strategy integration and marketing automation adoption to improve customer engagement and campaign efficiency.
  • Building strong relations with digital and central functions enhancing PACs NAM marketing. Build up PACs NAM customer data and its value to the marketing function.
  • Sharing your experience and skills across the team, allowing team members to get great insight into marketing effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing customer insights and market trends to help inform strategy and refining campaign approaches for PACs NAM.
  • Presenting marketing plans, business cases, and performance updates to executive leadership, sales and other stakeholder partners – gaining empathy and alignment.   
  • Collaborating closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing activities and revenue goals.
  • Managing external agencies and partner networks to maximize impact and ROI, including budget management and negotiations.
  • Championing internal culture, team energy, and engagement across the North America marketing function. 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in senior marketing roles, with proven leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated success in full-spectrum marketing programmes, from strategy to execution and measurement.
  • Expertise in digital driven marketing, audience profiling, and integrated campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools (SFDC, Marketo, 6Sense), marketing automation platforms, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Analytics and associated tools to optimize Social, PPC, SEM, SEO (inc. AI Search results)
  • Experience nurturing and building B2B and channel partner communities.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams and/or share skills and experience with others helping them develop their digital marketing skills.
  • Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a passion for innovative marketing and continuous learning.
  • Experience in the physical security, access control, or wider security technology industry is beneficial but not essential.
