The Director, Strategic Alliances – Mobile Credentials, Americas leads HID’s strategic partner ecosystem across North and South America, identifying and scaling high‑impact technology partnerships that reduce deployment friction and accelerate mobile credential adoption. This individual contributor role focuses on alliance strategy, partner development, go‑to‑market execution, and measurable business impact, with regular engagement across product, engineering, sales, and executive stakeholders.

As our Director, Strategic Alliances – Mobile Credentials, Americas, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Developing and owning the Americas strategic alliance roadmap for HID Mobile Credentials, aligned to product and business strategy.
  • Identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and managing high‑impact technology and integration partners that accelerate adoption and scalability.
  • Driving measurable commercial outcomes including partner‑influenced pipeline, ARR growth, and mobile credential activation.
  • Translating complex technical integrations into repeatable, market‑ready solutions.
  • Influencing cross‑functional teams and senior executives to align on partner priorities, execution plans, and success metrics.
  • Defining partner segmentation, qualification criteria, and green/red decision frameworks to guide investment and scaling decisions.
  • Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Partner Services, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Operations to establish integration priorities, API/SDK requirements, certification standards, and deployment models.
  • Building and executing joint business plans with strategic partners, including value propositions, enablement plans, pipeline goals, and launch strategies.
  • Negotiating commercial and technical partnership agreements that support HID’s growth objectives while protecting long‑term strategic value.
  • Monitoring partner performance against agreed milestones and KPIs, executing pivots where partnerships fail to deliver sufficient impact.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert on mobile credentials, physical access, identity, enterprise software, and ecosystem integrations across the Americas.
  • Representing HID externally with strategic partners, customers, and industry stakeholders.

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, business development, ecosystem partnerships, or technology partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling technology partner ecosystems involving software, hardware, cloud, mobile, and API‑based integrations.
  • Proven ability to convert partnerships into commercial outcomes, including pipeline creation, ARR growth, and solution adoption.
  • Strong ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across North and South America.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Physical access control industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with mobile credentials, digital identity, SaaS platforms, enterprise software, or integration ecosystems is preferred.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency is preferred.
  • Experience working in or with global technology organizations is preferred.
