As the Director of Global Talent Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our talent strategy to ensure the acquisition, development, and retention of top talent across our global organization with a lens on diversity and inclusion. You will oversee the Talent Acquisition function while spearheading the development and implementation of tools and processes for onboarding, performance management, and succession planning. This role requires strategic thinking, a strong understanding of talent management best practices, and a passion for driving organizational effectiveness.

As our Director, Global Talent Management, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Talent Acquisition:
  • Lead and mentor Talent Acquisition team to attract top talent aligned with the organization’s goals and values
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to support workforce planning and talent pipeline development
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent needs and ensure a seamless recruitment process from requisition to onboarding
  • Pre-Onboarding and Integration:
  • Cultivate a seamless process and positive experience for candidates as they transition into becoming a new hire 
  • Working collaboratively with HR Partners and hiring managers on pre onboarding routines and value add services to accelerate the integration of new hires into the organization
  • Performance Management:
  • Drive the development and implementation of performance management processes and tools to foster a culture of continuous feedback and development
  • Work with HR Business Partners and managers to ensure our tools establish clear performance expectations and goals aligned with strategic priorities
  • Succession and Pipeline Talent Development:
  • Lead the development and execution of succession planning initiatives to identify and develop identified successors for key roles
  • Work with HR team and business stakeholders to create and maintain career development frameworks that foster improved talent acquisition and more seamless internal career movement
  • Analyze data to understand where development gaps are and create programs for internal career development that align with our robust talent strategy

 

  • Data Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize data-driven insights to the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key talent metrics and provide actionable recommendations to leadership

 

What we will love about your background: 

  • Proven experience in talent management, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning, preferably in a global manufacturing or technology organization
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams to achieve high performance and drive success
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to act as an influential change agent, driving and implementing effective transformation strategies while gaining buy-in from stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and measure the impact of talent management initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

 

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience; advance degree is preferred
  • Ten plus years of proven experience in Talent Management disciplines
