As the Director of Channel Enablement, your primary focus is on providing foundational support for all partners across the ecosystem. This includes implementing Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions, overseeing global governance of compliance, and taking ownership of the partner experience. Your role involves driving the digital transformation of the partner journey and ensuring seamless enablement through effective PRM tools.

As our Director, Channel Enablement, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Strategic Enablement and Transformation:

  • Leading the implementation of Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions for seamless partner enablement. This includes researching PRM systems, conducting the RFP process, vetting vendors, negotiating price and terms, and on-boarding the new PRM.
  • Driving the digital transformation of the partner journey, ensuring a positive and efficient partner experience.

 

Global Compliance Governance:

 

  • Overseeing global governance of compliance related to the partner program, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborating with legal and business areas to administer partner agreements and contracts.

 

Partner Experience and Care:

 

  • Taking ownership of the overall partner experience, ensuring partners are considered and represented in cross-functional projects.
  • Driving special projects to enhance partner experience, care, and journey.

 

Insight into Transformational Projects:

 

  • Providing partners with insight into transformational projects, fostering collaboration, communication and engagement.
  • Representing partners throughout cross-functional projects, ensuring their perspectives are considered.

 

Digital Experience and Tools:

 

  • Driving the partner digital experience across HID, including the development and optimization of digital tools.
  • Working with the Business Areas, IT, CRM and Finance to implement channel strategy, data/reporting, and system workflows.

 

Feedback Solicitation and Implementation:

 

  • Collaborating with partners to solicit feedback on existing programs and processes.
  • Implementing changes based on feedback received, using methods such as Partner Advisory Councils and channel teams.

 

Communication and Alignment:

  • Communicating channel programs, strategies, events, and updates internally to drive alignment throughout the business.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, legal, and finance to implement and grow partner programs.
  • This detailed role ensures that the Director of Channel Enablement is positioned as a strategic leader responsible for providing foundational support, driving digital transformation, and enhancing the overall partner experience.

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing, Business, Communications) preferred. Master's degree and relevant certifications are valued.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in channel enablement, operations or related roles.
  • 5+ years of years of increasing managerial experience.
  • Experience working with Channel Ecosystem that include multiple partner types including VARs, Resellers, and Distributors.
