This position requires a highly organized repair technician competent in mechanics to troubleshoot and repair computing hardware, software, and electronics to support our customers before and after the sale. This position’s primary function is repair, but as a member of the technical support team, backs up the duties of their coworkers in technical support related to end-user support questions and general administration.

As our After Sales Repair Technician l, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Validating RMA, receipt, analyzing and repairing Evolis products
  • Creating and sending intervention report (RMA analysis report)
  • Creating and sending RMA repair quotation
  • Referring technical/Quality problems to HQ R&D and/or Quality department
  • Post-production upgrades
  • Ensuring proper inventory management (spare parts)
  • Adhering to the SLA for repair or warranty evaluation
  • Providing technical support to Level 1 end-user via email and phone
  • Using SalesForce to maintain support cases and adhere to all SLAs
  • Participating in weekly technical support meetings
  • Centralizing and diffusing technical information internally and externally
  • Participating to test sessions,
  • Reporting results to Evolis France.
  • Reviewing and revising training products
  • Printer refurbishing
  • Producing cards

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Training and/or diploma from technical school with focus in electronics and mechanics
  •  2-year minimum experience in similar position as a Repair Technician and/or Technical Support
  • Fluent in English required.
  •  Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
  • Desire to learn technology products.
  • Ability to work independently, rigor, analytical mind, reactivity.
  •  Knowledge in mechanics, electronics, computer science
  •  Customer oriented, pedagogy, good interpersonal skills
  •  Customer satisfaction
  •  Quality of repair respect of Evolis commitments (SLA)
  •  Quality referent to report issue with Evolis HQ.
