About the role

We are looking for a Production Team member for our Pacific Door Systems located in Mt. Wellington,  Aukland. In this role you will produce high quality timber and metal work within commercial and domestic industries. Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to operating standards/instructions and in line with health and safety practices and regulations.

You will be responsible for completing all work assigned within reasonable timeframes and to a high standard of quality using established standard manufacturing procedures and safe operating procedures.

Key Position Criteria:

• Manufacturing of doors and/or door frames.

• Loading and/or unloading of vehicles and/or trucks.

• Experience using hand held tools such as chisels, saws or hammers.

• Experience operating powered hand held tools such as routers, sanders or grinders.

• Experience operating or assisting in the operation of workshop machinery.

• Comply with all processes, policies and procedures.
• Abide by the standards and values set out by ASSA ABLOY’s Code of Conduct.
• Take reasonable care for their own health and safety, along with the health and safety of their colleagues, within the workplace.
• Not place at risk the health or safety of any person at the workplace.

In addition, the successful candidate must possess:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Carpentry experience prefered but not essential

• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities;

• Planning and time management skills
