The Position
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Business Controller to join the AAES team, based in Auckland, NZ.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work closely with the team to provide financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making to support the company's growth and operational excellence, through the following areas of responsibility:

- Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting:
- Cost Control and Optimization:
- Inventory Management:
- Capital Expenditure Analysis:
- Financial Compliance:
- Business Partnership:
- Team Leadership and Development:
- ERP System Utilization:
- Strategic Planning:
- Other tasks as required
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) are advantageous.
- Proven experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software applications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration across departments.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive process improvements and contribute to business growth.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
