Associate National Account Manager - THD Kwikset
Job Summary
The Associate National Account Manager is responsible for achieving annual sales goals, managing in-store projects, and supporting product line reviews for The Home Depot, representing the Kwikset brand. Key responsibilities include developing and executing account strategies, managing product mix, and creating and executing promotional plans. The role involves maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, assisting with sales forecasting, and reporting business results to Kwikset Leadership and The Home Depot. The ideal candidate will be an analytical-minded sales professional with Home Depot experience and project management expertise.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- 40%: Developing and implementing strategic plans with Home Depot corporate and Home Depot Field leadership, including project coordination, promotional plans, product mix management, and new product introductions.
- 30%: Leading and coordinating in-store projects, resets, and other Home Depot activities, ensuring flawless execution through internal and external collaboration.
- 20%: Managing VendorDrill and other Home Depot reporting tools, by analyzing customer data to drive sales growth and identify new opportunities
- 10%: Collaborating with marketing and product teams by developing marketing strategies and recommending opportunities to drive sales and gain share
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required.
- 2-5 years of experience managing or supporting accounts at The Home Depot Corporate is required.
- Knowledge of Home Depot's in-store environment and store execution is required.
- A successful track record in project management is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Efficient in Home Depot dashboard and portal (VendorDrill, IDM, POG,ETC)
- Ability to strategically develop plans and processes.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation Skills.
- Excellent Presentation Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-Motivated with strong work ethic
- Problem Solver
Work Environment:
Travel required for meetings, training seminars, trade shows and end user presentations. 30% Travel Required.
