Joining HID’s Sales Department: 

HID Global acquired Crossmatch Technologies in September 2018.  This position supports business development efforts for biometric solutions that were formerly provided by Crossmatch Technologies. This role and Crossmatch Technologies are a part of our Extended Access Technologies (EAT) business, within HID Global, located in the DC Metro area. The EAT business offers a broad range of biometric technologies that benefit any transaction requiring irrefutable proof of identity — such as criminal enrolment, background checks, border security, access control, customer onboarding, fraud prevention, loss prevention, time and attendance, and government benefit issuance.

As our Inside Sales Representative, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Managing and delivering sales to the U.S. Federal Civilian government agencies.
  • Identifying and qualifying new opportunities using the telephone and web demonstrations to improve market coverage, increase market share, and grow revenue.
  • Serving as a sales specialist for the company’s biometric solutions.
  • Developing and executing sales / business plans to achieve quarterly sales / business objectives.
  • Responsibility for accurate forecasting through Salesforce CRM.


What we will love about your background: 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Former military, law enforcement or direct sales experience with the federal government
  • Biometric or identity industry experience


Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience  
  • 5 years of sales experience within the technology market
  • Understanding of Federal government procurement processes essential
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and writing skills with strong attention to detail and follow up skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) applications
