The Regional Sales Manager role reports to the Americas Sales Director. Primary responsibilities are to develop new logo business, protect and grow existing revenues, maximize IAMs footprint within the HID install base, and strengthen product selection policies through strategic planning and relationship building with HID customers within their specified region.  


As Regional Sales Manager you will identify new project opportunities throughout multiple levels within prospects, customers, and channel partner organizations including senior management and all subsequent departments advancing HID Global’s market position.  


You will engage and sell enterprise software solutions and credentials to Global 2000 companies. Additionally develop and execute a business plan to grow the territory through established relationships, developing new relationships, and working with our channel partners.  


Joining the US Government Sales Team:  
The IAMS US Government Sales Team in conjunction with our strategic partners are responsible for managing 85% of all identities created across the Armed Services, Department of Defense, GSA, & Civilian Agencies.  


As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:   

  • Meeting or exceeding annual booking targets 

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive regional business plan to continually build and grow a robust sales pipeline 

  • Successfully managing all aspects of the sale process by maintaining an updated and accurate forecast in CRM ( 

  • Teaming up with HID channel partners in your territory and working closely with pre-sales & post sales teams

  • Knowledge of Identity Access & Management, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, or Enterprise Software space 

  • Extensive network of customers and advocates in market 

  • Thorough understanding of sales processes and methodologies 

  • Solid business judgment and resourcefulness  

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization 

  • Willingness to travel  


Your Experience and Education include:      

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent plus relevant work experience 

  • 7+ years exceeding sales quota as a Regional Sales Manager for a technology vendor, preferably in the Identity Access & Management, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, or Enterprise Software space. 

  • 5+ years of experience selling into the US Federal Government and Defense sector 

  • Possess a track record of developing a greenfield territory, adding new logos in an Enterprise Software role 

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills specific to field sales presentations and software demonstrations 

  • Self-motivated with superb organizational skills
