Warehouse Coordinator

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is considering candidates for Installation Support Warehouse role in Anaheim, CA area.

This is an opportunity for a service-minded professional to work, learn and grow with a team of dedicated professional technicians whom serve the greater Anaheim, CA  area in door automation service to our customers. Install automatic and manual door equipment, storefront framing, miscellaneous break metal coverage, and tie into electrical power supplied as necessary.  Install and assist in the installation of revolver doors as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
• Marking and labeling stock.
• Storing inventory in accessible manner.
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
• Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned.
• Wear and maintain any/all Personal Protection Equipment when necessary.
• Assist in any/all inventories as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:  3-5 years’ experience preferred of direct industry, store front door installation or relevant industry experience, Storefront, Glazing, Doors, Aluminium Frames, Electrical, Glass, Automatic Doors, Hardware etc.

Candidate minimum requirements must be able to work cooperatively and communicate both written and orally. Also, the physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work on knees constantly, work while on ladders, work safely with power tools and ladders.
