Service Technician
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (Pedestrian) is a global leader in access solutions, renowned for our innovation, integrity, and commitment to quality.
We are seeking a Service Technician to deliver a range of service and maintenance activities, including installation, repair, emergency breakdown response, and other maintenance services across the Company’s product range. This role is based in Wellington.
What You’ll Do
- Install, repair, and maintain the AAES Doors product range.
- Liaise with customers and Service Coordinators regarding repairs, installations, and site issues.
- Complete paperwork and documentation in line with quality and timeliness standards.
- Maintain work tools, PPE, and comply with WHS and company policies at all times.
- Work flexibly, including callouts, overtime, and out-of-hours requirements.
- Report safety incidents, hazards, and risks via Donesafe, and participate in training, audits, and meetings.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in building, carpentry, or related trades is desirable.
- Preferably experienced in service and/or installation roles.
- Knowledge of the Wellington area is advantageous.
- Qualified/licensed electrician or fitter and turner; controls experience is a plus.
- EWP (Scissor Lift) and Forklift licenses preferred.
- Must hold and maintain a current driver’s licence and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
