Sales Representative - Ghana
Purpose of the role:
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with architects, developers, contractors and business owners and drive company sales. You will gather information regarding on-going projects in your region and submit to the Specifications Department to deliver proposals and technical presentations. The person will promote and sell the full range of ASSA ABLOY opening solution products.
Responsibilities:
Grow market share in all verticals within your region. • Manage and develop current and new opportunities.
• Continue to nurture the existing key account relationships that ASSA ABLOY has in the market.
• New product launches.
• Ensure that your sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Work with the marketing and leadership team to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies. • Build portfolio of clients, both existing and new.
• Maintain accurate customer and proposal records.
• Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and demonstrations showing the capabilities of the product range.
• Contract negotiation and management of customer expectations. • Provide the most appropriate solution to satisfy your client’s requirements. • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations. • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Achieving budgeted (as a minimum) product revenue and margin – monthly & yearly.
• Achieving targeted product market share. • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives. • Present sales pipeline and target reports to business stakeholders.
Professional Qualifications & Experience:
• Extensive Sales, Project Management and/or Property Development experience.
• 5 years + Management experience in contract management on a senior level.
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• IT literacy, with efficiency in Office.
Desirable:
• Property- development &/ management with access control and opening solutions product sales.
• Ability to work closely with Architects and Contractors on developments and drive to complete within timelines.
Experience:
Essential:
• Experience in selling and managing a complete product range to property developers.
• Experienced with a proven record of accomplishment in selling products and solutions into these markets.
• You will be commercially aware and have an excellent understanding of industry trends and customer demands.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
