Position Overview / Summary

The Regional Sales Representative will represent our comprehensive product offering to the garage hardware industry and other markets in across western North America. This role will work closely with our clients and internal resources to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Representative will be accountable for:

  • Customer Service (60%):
  • Being a loyal brand ambassador for FlexiForce that demonstrates our core values
  • Communicating with customers regarding order status
  • Producing quotations and suggesting pricing levels
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers via phone an in-person visits
  • Visiting potential customers to demonstrate products and gain new markets
  • Advising on upcoming product developments
  • Negotiating variations in price, delivery, and specifications
  • Technical support regarding application of products
  • Communicating new product requests to various supporting departments
  • Attending industry trade shows
  • Supporting and growing important key-accounts
  • Order processing (30%):
  • Interpreting and entering customer orders
  • Working with the production control group to expedite order production
  • Working with customers to streamline ordering methods
  • Product configuration for custom / special applications
  • Work with supporting departments to meet or exceed 98% on-time-delivery
  • Developing Infrastructure for Sales and Marketing (10%):
  • Further developing quoting tools
  • Understanding cost structure
  • Working with sales team to develop marketing activities
  • Understanding and developing reporting tools to track customer activity

Required qualifications for this role include:

  • Preferably 5 years’ experience in a B2B sales, industry experience an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience coupled with formal sales process training.
  • Effective computer skills including familiarity with ERP (preferably Syteline) and CRM software as well as MS Office programs.
  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate variations in pricing, delivery and specifications
  • Analytical and detail oriented with an ability to understand manufacturing costs and TCO from the customer perspective.
  • Understanding and developing Customer activity tracking tools.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.


Few months in the year (this role may travel a few weeks in a year)
