Job Title: Business Development Representative - Commercial Overhead Dock & Door) 
Location: Vancouver, BC 


Door Systems is seeking candidates for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our Western Canada Vancouver team, based in Abbotsford, BC. As a Business Developer, you will work on building service revenue outside of our current customer base in residential, commercial, and industrial equipment and service to existing clients and prospects such as general contractors, leading manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, distribution centers and corporate/national offices. Candidates will be responsible for scheduling and purposeful implementation of selling activities, and maintain timely, accurate and profitable quotes. This position will be a hybrid style with 3 days in office, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 

Responsibilities:
•    Assume full responsibility for the implementation of the service sales strategy as outlined by the Branch Manager
•    Expand the company’s market position and achieve financial growth by identifying and developing new service sales opportunities and strategic partnerships in target markets
•    Conduct cold calls and actively reach out to potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.  Be the trusted advisor for key stakeholders.
•    Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities, using this information to shape sales strategies and adapt to market changes.
•    Continuously assess and improve sales processes, ensuring efficiency, and profitability at every stage of the sales cycle.
•    Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing, demonstrating strong sales acumen.
•    Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs, ensuring alignment with service delivery capabilities.
•    Identify and engage with key decision-makers, articulating our value proposition and service offerings with confidence.
•    Deliver technical excellence – present tailored solutions that address our customers’ complex challenges.
•    Develop and deliver in-person presentations to clients and prospective clients.
•    Weekly CRM activity reporting, including pipeline status recording.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
•    Minimum 2 - 4 years demonstrated experience in Sales & Business Development
•    A strong preference for applicants with experience in commercial overhead doors and/or dock equipment
•    Minimum of high school education or equivalent
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
•    Outstanding communication skills and courteous telephone manner
•    Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•    High level of attention to detail
•    Highly motivated, self starter with a high level of integrity
•    Ability to gain trust and establish rapport with customers
